1. About Pitch Side

Pitch Side helps football players organise squads, manage attendance, arrange fixtures, invite teammates, run tournaments and track football activity.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information

• First and last name.
• Email address.
• Optional phone number.
• Optional country.
• Preferred playing position.
• Apple or Google sign-in account identifier.
• Profile photograph, if you choose to upload one.
• Other player-profile information you choose to provide.

Your phone number and country are optional. You can create and use your account without providing either field.

If you choose to provide a phone number, it may be used to help identify your account and match squad invitations. If you choose to provide a country, it is used as profile information.

Football activity

• Squads and tournaments you create, administer or join.
• Attendance and availability status.
• Fixtures, line-ups, results and football statistics.
• Tournament participation and referee or administrator assignments.
• Messages or announcements created by authorised squad or tournament administrators.

Contacts, only with your permission

If you choose to invite players, administrators or referees using your device contacts, Pitch Side will request permission before accessing contacts.

Pitch Side is designed to process only the contact information you select, rather than uploading your entire address book. The selected contact’s name, email address or phone number may be transmitted to our services solely to:

• Invite players, tournament referees or administrators.
• Match an invitation to an existing Pitch Side user.

Contact information is not used for advertising, marketing or profiling. You may decline contact access and continue using the app.

Technical and diagnostic information

We may collect device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash information, security events and diagnostic data to operate, secure and improve Pitch Side.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Create and authenticate your account.
• Provide profile, squad, attendance, fixture and tournament features.
• Match invitations to users where an email address or optional phone number is supplied.
• Send service and activity notifications.
• Provide customer support and respond to feedback or feature requests.
• Improve app reliability, performance and usability.
• Maintain security and investigate abuse, fraud or unlawful activity.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Sharing information

We may share relevant information:

• With members or administrators of squads and tournaments where necessary to provide the features you use.
• With service providers, including Firebase and Google Cloud services, that help us authenticate users, store data, send notifications, monitor performance and operate Pitch Side.
• Where required by law, court order or a lawful request from an authorised body.
• Where reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, safety or service security.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Pitch Side, maintain security, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.

When information is no longer needed, it may be deleted or anonymised. Limited records may be retained where required by law or necessary for legitimate security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes.

6. Account deletion

You may initiate permanent account deletion directly within the app:

Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account

The app asks you to confirm deletion before processing the request and displays a confirmation after deletion completes.

If you are the only administrator of a squad or tournament, you may first need to assign another administrator or delete the relevant squad or tournament. The app will identify any blockers.

Subject to any information we must lawfully retain, account deletion removes your authentication account, profile and personal account data, and removes or anonymises your associations with squads and tournaments as applicable.

You do not need to contact customer support to complete account deletion. Contact support@e2techsolution.co.uk only if you experience a technical problem. Further guidance is available on the Pitch Side Support page .

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to:

• Access personal information held about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion or restriction of processing.
• Object to certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
• Request a portable copy of eligible information.
• Complain to an applicable data-protection authority.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Pitch Side is not intended for children who are below the minimum age required to consent to use an online service in their location without authorisation from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Pitch Side, our practices or legal requirements. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page, and we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
